COVID-19 Reopening Requirements - TIA : Technical Institute of America

COVID-19 Reopening Requirements

TIA is looking forward to welcoming all students back to our classroom in our Manhattan, Hempstead, and Arlington locations in August. Starting on August 3rd we will be holding in-person classroom training with limited seating for most of our management and technology courses. We value the health and safety of our team members and will be implementing the following guidelines for all classes:

    Social Distancing

  • Our classroom seats will be spaced 6 feet apart to limit student contact.
  • Due to more spacing between students, our classroom seating will be very limited. We encourage students to register early if they would like to attend in-person or take the course live-online instead.

    Cleaning

  • Our classrooms are sanitized each day and in between each class.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available and frequent hand-washing is encouraged.

    People

  • Wearing a mask is a requirement for all students, staff, instructors and visitors.
  • Masks must be worn correctly, covering your mouth and nose.
  • Students must provide their own masks.
  • All visitors must have their temperature taken on a daily basis. If your temperature indicates a fever you will not be allowed into the school.

All classes will come with a 1 year unlimited free retake policy. This will allow you to retake any of our management and technology classes for free either online or in-person for up to 1 year.
